Christmas Do Over

We were completely snowed in for Christmas. It was almost a go on Christmas Day but the weather still didn't cooperate so it was cancelled at the last minute.
We finally all got together on the 10th of January. Everybody was there: Grannie and Grandpa, Uncle Blake and Auntie Tara as well as Auntie Loree and Uncle Tracey. We had a feast. We finally got to eat Mommy's lasagna but there was Caesar salad, boccocini and tomato salad, roasted garlic and bread as well as smoked Gouda cheese ball!
Mommy had bought Christmas crackers the previous year but they were never used because we were all sick. Mommy's been saving them for over a year. They were fun. Uncle Blake and Grannie helped me pull them. They had a neat little prize, a paper crown and a little joke. Granny made the crown smaller so it would fit my head. I helped pull everyone's crackers. It was great fun!
After dinner we opened up more Christmas presents. I helped to hand them out to everyone. I got books and DVDs and a wooden train set (it used to belong to Daddy). It was a perfect night!
