A couple of years ago Grandpa gave Mommy a lefse rolling pin for Christmas. Mommy tried a couple of times to make it herself but it wasn't as good as Grandpa's, so Grandpa came over to give Mommy a lefse lesson. Mommy and I made the mashed potatoes, then Grandpa spread them all over the kitchen counter to cool. Next Grandpa added flour and made a dough. We then made little egg sized balls and rolled them with the special lefse rolling pin.
At first I was pushing too hard,
but Mommy helped me with the pressure and then I could make perfect 'quares
Grandpa cooked them on the griddle.
We made lots and lots!
